Kinesiology

6
Kinesiology is a study of movement, and uses muscle monitoring techniques to identify issues with the body’s performance and efficiency through structural, chemical and emotional energy imbalances. By studying the factors that influence movement and stability, our kinesiologists can identify treatments and therapeutic techniques that will restore energy levels and enable the body to heal.

At Synergy Rehab, our kinesiologists play an integral part in their clients’ recovery. They will conduct a thorough physical assessment, and then design a tailored rehabilitation program and guide their clients through each step, teaching them how to effectively utilise key muscles, employ proper body mechanics and prevent any further injury.

Conditions commonly treated through kinesiology techniques are poor posture, decreased core strength, instability and balance issues, repetitive strains, whiplash injuries, tendinopathies, neck and back pain, and general lack of fitness.
